Across the nation over 50 million hours of lost school time each year are attributed to oral disease. Routine dental visits and exams are important to maintaining good oral hygiene.
Vital Smiles is dedicated to providing oral health education to children and their families. We work closely with schools in our community to provide dental education to children of all ages. Oral health presentations are performed at school health fairs at no charge to the school. During the oral health presentations children are taught proper brushing and flossing techniques to maintain their oral health. We provide children with written information regarding dental hygiene for their families to assist in maintaining their oral health at home.
