Good Dental Words to Use

One of the best ways to make good dental hygiene a part of your child’s life is to make it play a part in your everyday conversations. Talk with your children about dental hygiene and how they can preserve the health of their teeth.

Children can be overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of the unfamiliar instruments used in the dental office. Vital Smiles uses several techniques to strive to make every visit for their patients a positive one, including the use of child-friendly terms for our dental instruments and procedures. Parents are encouraged to become familiar with these terms to assist in a rewarding visit for your child.
